“I would be honored and am honored that you think so highly of what I wrote. I am a big fan of your stuff and of all the series of pics I saw of that ‘couple’, yours was the one that made me feel the most - both anger and understanding and acceptance of the art that was created on that day. I felt many emotions all at once. That is the nature of art. Your series brought valuable context to the fact that is was not a one-shot moment of violence but a real statement about the entire issue of violence about women. It was a play. A tableaux that sickened me while making me proud of the bravery of the people involved. You knew it for what it was also and did your role as a photo journalist. Peter Parker would have done the same. I appreciate your work so much because you try to get to the INNER Cosplayer. Never forget the Mole Man (you know the one). You saw his inner greatness. It’s your gift. Sorry for being so chatty but I was so honored by your message that I had to drop you a bit more balloon juice. Now we can all move on to another REAL issue. Keep doing that voodoo that you do because that’s how great people become great artists.”

These are, I really really hope, my final words on the subject:
I will always admit to glamorizing Comic-Books.
I will always admit to glamorizing Comic-Book Conventions.
I will always admit to glamorizing Cosplayers.
I will always apologize for any unintentional offences my images bring to any observers, but offending is not now nor will it ever be my intent, nor thoughtless insensitivity on any subject my goal.
I seriously just like posting stuff about comic-books.
